A couple from the Northeast
Here are a couple from our trip to New England. The fall colors were in full force, and those photos will be published soon... but first here are two photos from Boston and Cape Cod.
The first photo is actually a parking Garage! I was impressed with the looks of the building as we came up from the basement parking.
Taken with my 17-35mm lens at 17mm, handheld. I used a large aperture (f/2.8) to keep the shutter speed fast enough (1/30s) to capture this handheld.
One of my favorite locations to photograph during the trip was at the beach at Chatham. It helped that I reached the location just before sunset when the sun's golden rays blanketed the beach with their glow. The wisps of clouds and gentle waters only added to the serenity of the scene. Taken handheld with an aperture of f/8 and shutter speed of 1/160s
