Vacation - 1

I had been out all last week on vacation, travelling around the country with family. You can read more about the trip here. I carried all my camera equipment including my tripod and had a ball. Here are some photos of the State Capitol in Harrisburg,PA. These pictures were taken in the evening time.

I love the colors the trees add to the picture. They add an interesting focal point to the photo.




And there were these lush green trees framing the dome on the other side.



My favorite photo from the set. The setting sun creates a wonderful feel. This was taken from the Walnut Street Bridge across the Susquehanna River. It is the oldest surviving bridge across the river and one of the remaining multi-span Phoenix truss bridges in the US. It is now used as a pedestrian walkway to City Island.





Next stop Hershey, PA - the sweetest place on Earth!
