Tanjore series - The finale

Early morning after the visit to the temple, we spent some time picnicing by the river. This is a tributary to the river Kaveri. What I tried to capture here is the idyllic village life, still surrounded by trees and a gentle stream flowing by.

Outside the palace and museum, these goats find a little snack!

Great photos. There's something about the quiet majesty of the temple that overawes.

Good poctures,
1 The view of both gopurams together is a good composition.
2. Though the picture of cauvery tributary reflects the virgin village in the Tanjore district the picture could have contained more sharpness and clarity.
3.The picture of the pilgrim is remarkable one.
Good work

Raj: Thank you

Siva: Thanks. I agree that the village photo is not very sharp, but that was a major crop of the actual frame. I wished I had a tripod for that shot. My favorite too is the picture of the 2 gopurams
