A blast from the past
This is a photo from the good old film days, shot using my N90s and Velvia film. Trekking around the Smoky Mountains , we came across this antique car abandoned in a field. There was a fence and a few trees that made composition a tough proposition but I was able to get a clear picture from this angle.

Hi Rajan,
This is a more creative picuture. By the way i was telling Vini that the Kinikini pictures were "larger than life". The photos give a live feeling of the performance & it's ambience to any viewer.
I was looking for a photography course (professional), Vini suggested me check with you, is "NYIP" good or do you have any other suggestions?
How to obtain copyrights for the photographs? is there any specific procedure?
Hi Siva,
Thx for your kind words. I'm not sure about courses like the one at NYIP - My feeling is that they might help regarding the theory, and might help as far as studio lighting, but I've really found the internet to be the best resource to learn photography. The sites listed in this blog on the side have been the most useful to me.
Ofcourse, trying out various things in the field and learning from mistakes is probably the way I learnt photography.
You automatically own the copyright for the photos you shoot. You can choose to register them at the US Library of Congress (available online) if you need to fight copyright violations in the USA.
Thanks. I'm trying out on my own for past 5 years. Still i do feel a opinion of some on else on our work may bring some criticism for improvement.
By the way how is life at Houston
